We developed a new phenomenological differential equation for the world energy resources taking into account such factors as the exploitment of new resources, energy savings and consumptions by economic activities. The Bernoulli-type equation is numerically solved under various values of parameters for the quantity of energy resources, rates of energy consumption and new-energy exploitment. It is shown that energy resources can be sustainable for a considerably long period of time under realistically attainable level of technological breakthroughs and low economic growth.
