Results of pressure measurements of thermal expansion, compressibility, magnetization and Curie temperature of rare-earth and transition metals intermetallics are presented. A dependence of compressibility in ferro- (ferri-) magnetic state of the intermetallics on TC, Kf∼TC-1, has been discovered. The pronounced Invar-like behaviour of these materials is described and discussed within thermodynamic relations and itinerant d-electron concepts.
