Abstract
By different modifications of [numerical formula], we obtained an identity. Rewriting the identity with Pochhammer's symbol, choosing α, μ, β and ν appropriately and using the relation (0)_0=1, (0)_i=0 (i≥1), we have discovered the following new summation formula of the finite generalized hypergeometric series: [numerical formula] where n (≥0) is an integer.
