The behavior of vehicles at a merging section of Personal Rapid Transit(PRT) with two entry points is analyzed using the Markov chain technique. The analysis of the behavior is based on an edealized model. The structure of a merging section is that a sub-line diverges into two off-lines and the off-lines merge a main-line at different two entry points. This paper derives the average queue length and the average waiting time of vehicles. Several characteristics of the merging section are identified from the result of comparison with an ordinary merging section.
