Abstract
Currently “Cloud Computing” has received a lot of attention as a new usage pattern for information systems, however, there are some concerns about the viability of cloud-based business, about data storage and security. Because there is asymmetric information between cloud service providers and cloud users, it is very important to address the establishment of governance and risk minimization and to bridge both information gaps in order to encourage the spread of cloud computing.
In this paper, we focus on the assurance for cloud service provider's risks and examine how the asymmetric information sharing in cloud computing has an impact on cloud usage promotion by using game theory and multi-agent simulation, and describe the governance -utilization of third-party certification- required for the asymmetric information sharing.
