Abstract
In the tire manufacturing process, as an example of manufacturing where humans and machines
intervene and information is shared among processes, we applied two flowchart types and one matrix type, which are visualization methods, to the production process in order to address the issue of production volume not increasing as much as expected at tire manufacturing plants in developing countries. The purpose of this study is to clarify the methods. In addition, we analyze three visualization methods and conduct a questionnaire survey of local staff to determine which visualization method is most effective, and find a methodology for production process reengineering.
