Abstract

The purpose of travel may vary. To enjoy beautiful scenery, to be attracted by delicious local food, to be interested in the culture and architecture of the destination, to have a good time with friends and family, to refresh oneself, to relieve stress. The list is endless. In the article, we discuss points to note of situations in which a trip intended to relieve stress may conversely cause stress buildup. There are people whose moods are strongly depressed in the winter. Next, we will discuss the benefits of trip to a tropical country for such people. The outbreak of COVID-19 has gone down, and the national designation of new coronavirus has been moved to a category 5 infectious disease. The number of travelers to foreign countries is expected to increase in the future. Japan is located in the Far East, and many people suffer from jet lag when traveling to the U.S. or Europe. Finally, the causes and countermeasures for jet lag when traveling abroad are described.
