Abstract
Severe female infertility is almost always related to the malfunction of the ovaries. The use of assisted treatment of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) is important for overcoming infertility. Low reactive Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) has been shown to improve the blood circulation. A total of 337 females with severe infertility were treated with LLLT assisted for ART. Of these, 110 cases became pregnant and the fertility rate was 32.6% for patients receiving ART and LLLT. Compared with the conventional assisted treatment for ART, such as Chinese herbal medicine or melatonin, LLLT had almost the same treatment outcome. In the future, LLLT with the conventional assisted treatments may lead to an increased fertility rate for ART.
