Since the late 1900s, the pain-relieving effect of semiconductor lasers has been applied to the treatment of sports injuries. The treatment effect of Low reactive level laser therapy for sports disorders has been confirmed through the development of the irradiation method. This continuing development may help answer questions that still remain in the field of meniscal treatment, and may lead to new and unique treatment methods in the future. In this paper, we describe our approach to laser therapy in the prevention of sports disorders and the improvement of athletic ability, much of which is now widely applied in the field of sports medicine.
