Abstract

A dental laser has superior incision/hemostatic ability. This nature is suitable for a soft tissue disorder operation of oral surgery area. For adaptation of a laser operation, abscission/perspiration of a superficial malignancy and precancerous lesion is put up. We used a laser for early tongue cancer this time and reviewed it about the adaptation and problems. It was assumed that we compared it with an abscission case in electric knife thermocoagulation a vascular section in a laser scalpel enough. In addition, an erythroid tissue infiltrate was not present in tissue of a section, and there was a little apoplexy in abscission.

As for the laser which muscle contraction does not occur in at an incision, correct margin setting is enabled so that abscission extends to the muscles of tongue layer in tongue cancer.
