Abstract
Minimally invasive surgery is becoming popular in ENT field. High power CO2 laser has been mostly used in ENT applications. But, high power CO2 laser irradiation induced either high mucosal damage or long delay of recovery of wounded tissue for perennial allergic rhinnitis.
So, surgical therapy with high power laser surgery can not be popular in ENT day surgery of outclinic because of thermal surgical pain and complications after laser irradiation. On the other hands, non thermal mid power CO2 laser surgery is satisfactory to treat with less invasive minimally thermal damage and fine control during short surgical time. The usefulness of mid power CO2 laser for outclinic say surgery will be presented.
