Abstract
Spectrum analysis of fluorescence of the various organs and gastrointestinal contents excited by argon laser was carried out in healthy rats, obtaining the results as follows.
1. The peaks of 630 and 680nm were not observed in the fluorescence of the gastrointestinal mucosa, liver, spleen and kedney.
2. The spectrum of fluorescence of the gastrointestinal mucosa in moe or less influenced by the contents in the gastrointestinal tract.
3. The gastrointestinal contents of fasting and polymyxin orally administrated fasting rat showed the spectra with the peaks at 630 and 680nm, being different from that of the rats on ordinary feed.
4. The gastrointestinal bacterial flora in the fasting rats and polymyxin administrated fasting rats were different from that of the rats on ordinary feed.
