Abstract
We evaluated clinical efficacy of laser irradiation therapy using Nd-YAG laser for 37 cases of early gastric cancer with severe complications since 1982. Five provisions such as 1) position, 2) size, 3) macroscopic finding (elevated or depressed, 4) times of irradiations, and 5) types of specimen were employed for the determination of the therapeutic efficacy. Early gastric cancers with severe complications predisposed to successful laser irradiation therapy are accordingly qualified less than 15mm pore size diameter, being differenciate and elevated in macroscopically.
