Abstract
We report 14 cases of early gastric cancer who had undergone laser radiation therapy in our Hospital since 1982. In particular 5 cases which were treated successfully using laser radiation were closely examined clinically and pathologically through biopsies. All cases were eventually resected.
Early gastric cancers predisposed to successful laser radiation therapy are accordingly qualified maximum pore size 15-20mm diameter, being of differentiate glandular type and with invasion limited to mucosa. Ease of location and accessibility to the endoscope can also be considered.
