Abstract
Analysis of specific membrane metabolisms on the malignant tumor cell made a possible to diagnose the tumor localization and new laser photo-chemical anti-tumor treatment, simultaneously.
Platinum blue fluorescein sodium complex (tumor marker, laser reactive anti-tumor drug) was selectively uptaken into the malignant tumor cells with activation of specific external ATPase on the tumor cell membrane. Therefore, N2-laser irradiation produced very effective anti-tumor function with three different mechanism (1) cellular swelling by change of cell membrane ion metabolism (2) increasing the binding of platinum complex to DNA (3) damage of cell membrane with active oxygen for the malignant tumor. and produced 400/500nm emission fluorescence.
This study opened the new aproach for the treatment of malignant tumor.
