Structure and Synthesis of 3¹-Methoxyethyl-8-vinyldeutero porphyrin, a new photosensitizer

Abstract

The alcohol adducts of protoporphyrin might have a similar or more preferable behavior to tumor tissues than HpD, and planned to synthesize methanol adducts to the double bonds of protoporphyrin.
Two novel compounds (MVD, VMD) were obtained from this reaction and determined these structure to use the nuclear over hauser effect by 400MHz NMR Spectrum
