Abstract
The amount of total riboflavin level and serum protein of the blood of 23 healthy, 21 obese children and 91 patients with different types of desease were determined. Also, electrophoretic analysis of serum proteinfraction were performed.
1. The average value of total riboflavin of healthy children was 8.80±0.50 γ%.
2. The average value of total riboflavin of patients was 8.63±0.46 γ%. Lower level of riboflavin value was observed in the patients with hypoalbuminemia.
3. When clinical signs of ariboflavinosis were noted, the average value of total riboflavin was low, while showing within normal value of total protein and fraction.
5. Higher level of riboflavin value was obtained in the obese children. However, no significant variation was noticed on the protein analysis.
