We analyzed the 1015 of pediatric orthopaedic admittances of the Fujigaoka hospital from July, 1975 to June, 1985. Fujigaoka hospital was opened at Midori-ku, Yokohama-shi in July 1975 and we had the 10th anniversary of our hospital this year.
From July 1975 to June 1980, the former 5 years, we had 206 boys and 180 girls admittances. From July 1980 to June 1985 the latter 5 years, we had 363 boys and 264 girls admittances. The former 5 years, the most common diseases are congenital dislocation of the hip, transient synovitis of the hip and supracondylar fracture of the humerus. The latter 5 years, they are transient synovitis of the hip, supracondylar fracture of the humerus and Legg-Calve-Perthes disease.
We investigated the number of admittances, the change of diseases, the distribution of admittances and so forth in former and latter 5 years.
