Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to assess the possibility to quantify of MBF and CFR with a shorter scan time of 15O-H2O PET.16 patients with coronary artery disease and twenty healthy volunteers underwent the rest and stress dynamic 15O-H2O PET scans. MBF and CFR were calculated using first 3-min PET data, and compared to the findings with all the data of 6-min PET scan. The values of MBF and CFR both in patients and volunteers showed no significant difference between 3-min and 6-min data. The CFR of patients was significantly lower than that of volunteers for the 3-min data, as same as the 6-min data. A 3-min shorter scan of 15O-H2O PET can be used for the quantitative evaluation of MBF and CFR.
