Abstract
This study provides an image and information processing method for accurate fusion of blood vessel network from multiple ultrasound Doppler volumes. As previous study, we proposed a fusion method by registration of shared bifurcations between Doppler volumes. However, accuracy and computation time depends on extraction accuracy of bifurcations from 3D thinning data of volumes. To improve the extraction accuracy, we implemented two methods; one is to apply anti-aliasing volume filter for volume smoothing before thinning processing, and the other is correction algorithm of false bifurcations. From validation results of the method, error bifurcations were significantly reduced.
