Abstract
Because of some advantages in endovascular surgery, 3D visualization technique of blood vessel network from ultrasound volume data is required. However, Doppler signal from blood flow depends on the direction. To address this issue, we propose a method by fusing between B-mode and Doppler echograms, which were acquired in the same coordinate simultaneously. The B-mode and Doppler vessel volumes were separately refined to fuse as a combined volume. The obtained results in an artificial blood vessel and the human liver artery showed good compensation between both volumes. Our method must be useful for improvement in accuracy of blood vessel reconstruction.
