Abstract
We have been studied to develop PD ablation, an innovative arrhythmia treatment. We studied injury of vascular endothelial cells damaged by an extracellular photosensitization reaction with talaporfin sodium in vitro. We investigated uptake of the cells and its lethality by the photosensitization reaction with a 663 nm wavelength laser. Drug contact time was changed from 5 to 120 min. Fluorescence images such as Fig. images were employed to measure the uptake. The uptake of the cells with talaporfin sodium was monotonically increased. WST assay was employed to measure the cells lethality. The cell lethality didn't depend on drug contact time. These results suggests the injury mainly come from extracellular.
