Background- Recently it was reported that characteristic phenomenon of intracellular calcium (Cai) changes such as triggered activity were induced faster than membrane potential (Vm) when VT exacerbation VF. However interaction between Vm/Cai during sustained VF were still unclear. We analyzed about correlation between spatial heterogeneous Cai signal duration (CaSD) and trajectory of Phase Singularity (PS) during VFMethods- Simultaneous optical mapping of Vm/Cai was performed with Langendorff-perfused rabbit hearts during pacing and VF induced cross-field stimulation. 2D maps of Action potential duration (APD) and CaSD were constructed during pacing and VF both. APD/CaSD were determined by APD50. Deviation larger area (DLA) were drawn from APD/CaSD Maps. Moreover PS trajectory were drawn from isochronal map of a spiral reentry. Finally PS trajectory were superimposed to DLA of APD/CaSD Maps. Results and Discussion- We found that APD/CaSD Maps during pacing had different spatial heterogeneity. Especially DLA of CaSD Map and PS trajectory were strongly correlate. This result may suggest that the center of spiral reentry are represented on DLA of CaSD Map at high rate.
