The study was directed to development of a caster load sensor that is lightweight and thin shaped for improvement of the retailed sensor. The prototype sensor could obtain the load within 10% of the error and estimate center-gravity of the bed within 38mm of the error. The posture change was estimated by using a discarnate with a threshold of the position change of center-gravity of bed. In addition, the bed-leaving prediction system was improved to wireless communication between the load sensor and a monitor unit for easy-to-use.
