Abstract
Large
scale seashore MSW landfill has much amount of inner leachate, so that long
term management is required to stabilize a quality of the inner leachate. Even
if the inner leachate is positively collected, it will take decades for
leachate (discharged leachate) to satisfy the discharged water criteria. Land
use after closure of the seashore landfill is desired since it is located
around seaboard development region. We proposed a new methodology to establish
both environmental preservation and high-level usage of the land, by installing
both adequate thick final cover for infrastructure development and layered
drainage system for enhancing early stabilization of the leachate.
