Abstract

In recent years, waste incineration facilities are expected to function as local energy centers, and it is required to improve the stability of combustion and power generation as waste power generation facilities. Moisture in waste is the main cause of combustion fluctuation, and in order to stabilize combustion, it is important to stir the waste in the pit with a crane and homogenize the quality of the waste to be put into the incinerator. We are working on the development of a system that uses a moisture camera to detect the index of waste quality and efficiently agitates the inside of the pit based on that index. It has been confirmed that this index value changes with the movement of water in the garbage. This time, we evaluated the stirring condition in the pit with the aim of improving the accuracy of the moisture index value.
