Abstract

In order to perform stable waste treatment and power generation at municipal waste incineration power generation facilities, it is necessary to maintain stable combustion conditions even when the properties of waste and the amount of waste supplied fluctuate. As part of our efforts to optimize the operation of a comprehensive waste incineration facility that takes into account not only the improvement of power generation efficiency and environmental performance but also the reduction of operational labor, we have developed a control model that automatically operates an operator when the properties of waste and the supply amount of waste fluctuate by utilizing our group's combustion control technology, and applied it to the waste incinerator at the Iwate Chubu Clean Center.
