Abstract

In waste treatment facilities, energy recovery primarily occurs through power generation. However, the current power generation efficiency of these facilities remains low, making it difficult to improve the power generation efficiency through waste incineration in the future due to the increasing adoption of waste recycling and biomass power generation. Against this background, heat utilization has been recognized as an effective means to address the problem of energy utilization efficiency decline in waste treatment facilities. However, the widespread adoption of heat utilization is currently hindered by factors such as the impact of facility location conditions and the absence of appropriate criteria for evaluating heat utilization. This research aims to improve the energy utilization rate of waste treatment systems by focusing on infrastructure collaboration and quantifying its effects. It proposes infrastructure collaboration to understand the current energy utilization status of existing waste treatment facilities and reports the results of environmental and economic evaluations of previous case studies.
