Unsteady flows are numerically studied for the 2D driven cavity with aspect ratio A=0.8 and 1.5. For the cavity with A=0.8 and A=1.5, the first bifurcation observed in the present study was a supercritical Hopf bifurcation. While supercritical bifurcation was observed for A=0.8, subcritical bifurcation was observed for A=1.5 in a previous study. The present result apppers to suggest that solution branches with different character coexist for A≫1.
