In order to reduce the calculation cost, various simple modeling methods for bolted fastener have been proposed. In this paper, the specimen composed of two plates with long bolt holes, which is tightened by bolts and nuts and is subject to shear loads. In order to realize the stress field close to bolt holes without non-linear contact analysis, our proposed model employs a multi-point constraint method based on interpolated rigid-body element to constrain two plates. In addition, the weighting parameters of multi-point constraint are fitted by the result of solid model. As a result, our model reproduces the strain distribution and the stiffness of the specimen.
