The transfer stiffness coefficient method, which was developed by introducing the concept of the substructure synthesis method into the computation process of the transfer influence coefficient method, is applied to the thin plate structure. The efficient computation algorithm improved in the previous report is utilized for the reduction of inner degrees of freedom of the plate element. An algorithm based on the present method is formulated for free and forced vibration of the duct structure having some crooked parts and subsystems. The effectiveness of the present algorithm concerning the computation efficiency and the computational accuracy is confirmed by the numerical computational results.
