The Electromagnetic vibration of brushless DC motors was examined. Owing to the inevitable manufacturing tolerances, the level of the electromagnetic vibration in actual motors will exceed design expectation. We measured the electromagnetic vibration with developed experimental equipment that can set the eccentric condition of the rotor to the stator. In this paper, we show the relationship between the electromagnetic vibration and eccentricity or circularity of the stator.
