Abstract
This paper describes the vibration suppression of torsion systems of finite degrees-of-freedom (DOF) by using the wave absorbing control method with online computation of a virtual wave propagating system that is similar to the real system to be controlled. The vibration system is calculated online by Adams' method, and the controller which has the impedance matching characteristic is applied at the end of the virtual system. From the theoretical and expermental viewpoint, the characteristics of the control system are presented, and the validity of proposed method is demonstrated.
