Braces on Soundboard of acoustic guitar have an influence on sound quality. Usually, the bracing location depends on guitar maker skill and feeling. There are no guidelines for designing bracing pattern. This paper describes a simulation results for the full-scale soundboard model of an acoustic guitar. From the simulation results, brace spacing have largely an influence on the vibrating surface area size and the radiation power from the soundboard. And, the soundboard with new bracing pattern is proposed and discussed numerically.
