This paper presents the results of experimental and analytical studies of the performance of a vibratory separation of plastic mixtures. Separation takes place in a vibratory feeder equipped with two electrodes. By using the method, the separation of PET from PVC particles after tribocharging was studied. The amount of surface charge accumulated on the plastics was measured with a Faraday cage system. The purity of PET was 99.18% at the recovery of 93.73%. The purity of PVC was 99.27% at the recovery of 91.85%
