In the previous report, a very high speed and accurate method of stability analysis by using the approximate state transition matrix was suggested for an approximate solution of a large-scale nonlinear system, and it was applied to the nonlinear vibration analysis of a straight-line beam structure. In this report, the presented method is applied to a tree structure, and the validity of this method is checked by various calculation results. In addition, the accuracy of the approximate state transition matrix is checked by varying the number of modes for constructing a reduction model and the partition number of one period for computing an approximate state transition matrix.
