Abstract
There is a problem of undesirable vibration of flaw detection probe in a helical tube installed in a prototype fast breeder reactor. Probes modeling and algorithm for numerical simulation were proposed in the precious report and simulation results were same as mock-up experimental results qualitatively. This paper deal with the vibration generation mechanism and the effectiveness of a variety of vibration control plan by using numerical simulation. Confirming the control effect by the numerical analysis leads to the saving of cost and time.
