Elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio have been used in the static analysis of elastic materials. Complex dynamic modulus has been used in dynamic analysis, but Poisson's ratio has been used statically measured value. In this research, we define complex dynamic Poisson's ratio in consideration of the phase lag of the strain in the direction perpendicular to the strain in the extended direction. We report measured results by means of laser displacement meters and high-speed camera.
