This paper derives the relation between a excitation position and a modal expansion of structural intensity of bending vibration on plate. The expansion is expressed by the superposition of modal terms expressed by the product of weight coefficients and cross-modal functions. Weight coefficient is presented by the material properties, excitation condition, and two modes with or without spatial derivatives at excitation point. Cross-modal function is presented by the product of two modes with or without spatial derivatives. Weight coefficients change by a excitation position movement but cross-modal functions not. Numerical simulation is carried out in order to investigate the relation between change of weight coefficients and a excitation position.
