In recent years, various researches on acoustic properties of simple bearing have been carried out. However, research on the acoustic properties of electrical motor where the bearing housing with bearing installed was considered as the unit bearing has not yet been conducted. This paper presents a study on the effects of simple bearing on the acoustic properties of a bearing structure. The correlation between vibration and acoustic noise was investigated using the Finite Element Analysis, Static Experimental Modal Analysis, and Operational Modal Analysis.
