The vibration modal expansion of acoustical intensity on a plane is derived as well as the expansion of structural intensity on a plate. The expansion is expressed by the superposition of modal terms composed of weight functions and cross-modal functions. The weight functions are determined by the natural frequencies and modes and the information. The cross-modal function is evaluated by the products of two modes and the information of the observed points. This paper also discusses the the relation between the structural intensity and the acoustical intensity. As a result, the relation can be found in case of the non-vortex typed structural intensity on the near vibrating plate with high damping.
