The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance for earthquake resistance of a server rack in detail through vibration test that use a floor response waves of buildings. To reveal the fundamental dynamic characteristics of the server rack through the vibration test of sinusoidal waves input, it is analyzed the influence of connection number of the server rack, additional mass, and mass position. Earthquake responses characteristics of the server rack are also investigated through input waves assuming severe excitation.
