Evaluation of steering feeling under multiple driving conditions is difficult only in the simulation at development of EPS system. In this report, to solve this problem, we consider the reproduction of behavior of steering wheel and the control method with developed steering simulator when the road surface condition changed suddenly. First of all, the abnormal behavior of steering wheel is able to reproduce by steering simulator when the road surface condition changed suddenly. Next, we propose the control method to restrain the abnormal behavior of steering wheel. Finally, the effect of the suppression control is confirmed with a steering simulator.
