Abstract
To analyze cage stress of the Rzeppa constant velocity joint (CVJ), we construct the model of Flexible Multibody Dynamics that is using a direct integration method. This model is composed of these parts; cage is finite element mesh, shaft is the divided beam element and other parts are the rigid body. The correctness of this simulation model was confirmed by the experiment that measures the strain of the cage pillar. Then, we considered the cause where cage stress change was generated while CVJ is rotating.
