The purpose of this study is to consider speech articulation of car navigation when using piezoelectric directional speaker. We developed thin piezoelectric loudspeaker that have shell type diaphragm, and evaluate the directivity of piezoelectric loudspeaker when changing the position of the vibrator. Result shows that directivity depends on frequency, and directivity of the speech band frequency changed by changing the position of a vibrator. Therefore, it is considered that this directional speaker is adapted to use car navigation in car interior.
