The purpose of this study is to develop an active noise control (ANC) system for a toilet noise. The feature of proposal system is that the control sound is radiated from the toilet seat, and which is exchangeable after construction of a toilet. In the experiment, the actual equipment toilet bowl on the market was used, and the control speaker was connected to the toilet seat. The sound reduction characteristics of control were measured for evaluation. The result of this study shows that the sound reduction was obtained maximum 43dB at the error microphone, and maximum 23dB at the evaluation measurement microphone, in control for pure tone. Therefore, it is clear that the proposed ANC system is effective in reducing toilet noise.
