Abstract
This paper presents the development of an integrated programming environment, so called ANetCoDE, for implementing ConCAD system. ANetCoDE is a hybrid agent-oriented programming environment to support the implementation of design agents that can harmonize the deliberative characteristics with the reactive characteristics of agents. The representation techniques for design agents are proposed to be able to accommodate their internal state to the continuously changed design states. With the ANetCoDE, the design agents supporting multidisciplinary design activities are effectively designed and run well in a dynamic design environment.
