抄録
In this paper a new technique, the coupling of modal superposition method and explicit Finite Element Method is introduced for vehicle driving simulation. This coupling technique is applied to the rigid body parts in the vehicle FE model which are not substantially important in the simulation but influence the behavior of another parts which are focused in the analysis. This coupling technique can be used to reduce CPU cost of the simulation maintaining the accuracy of the entire vehicle structure performance.
