抄録
This paper proposes a new methodology that supports to create structures of product and assembly-machines to prevent occurrence of assembly-faults. It consists of two components. The first component of the methodology identifies parts, functions and assembly actions with their properties related to an assembly fault, and provides the guidelines to create the solutions for the fault. The second component of the methodology identifies parts and assembly actions with their properties that will amplify assembly difficulty.
