In this research, we study quantitative evaluation of how the impression is affected by changing curvature in the axial direction on the side of circular cylinders. This study is motivated by considering the shape design of containers such as drink cans. Experiments are conducted by showing three types of objects in two different manners: first the objects are presented one by one and next the three objects are presented simultaneously. The examinees are asked to choose appropriate measure expressed by a pair of opposite adjectives in the questionnaires. These responses are numerically analyzed by the SD method frequently used in psychological metrology. Some tendencies are clarified in the factorial analysis.
